Beverly Barnes Mark is an independent music teacher, active accompanist and organist.     She has been teaching students young and old for over 20 years, helping them develop their own relationship with music through the study of the piano’s many voices and its wide repertoire.   Her students have won awards at local and state competitions, perform successfully in recitals and contribute musically to their community. Beverly is an active member of Music Teachers National Association, Wisconsin Music Teachers Association and Michibago Music Teachers Association and received WMTA’s Member of the Year Award in 2009.    She recently completed Silver Lake College’s Piano Pedagogy Certification under the direction of Dr. Diana Shapiro and Dr. Stanislova Varshavski. Beverly enjoys accompanying choirs in her community and working with soloists on collaborative projects.
