My Studio offers music for 3-5 year olds in the KiddyKeys® classes, pair lessons for 6-7 year olds and private lessons for students 8 to 108 years old. Lessons are tailored for each student’s interests and learning styles, so musical instruction in many styles – “classical,” jazz, pop, lead sheets – are available. The curriculum makes extensive use of the computer lab for both improving critical listening skills and for theory reinforcement. Piano ensembles are encouraged. Group lessons are offered once a month where we learn about music history, theory and perform for each other. Performance opportunities are available in the Studio for the Holidays and a Spring Recital. Other opportunities are available through MMTA, Wisconsin Music Teachers Association, National Piano Guild and others. The Studio is located southwest of Plymouth. About Me I started playing piano when I was 5 years old because I wanted to play piano like my Mom. I continued through high school and two years of classes towards a music teaching degree at UW-Eau Claire. Piano teaching is my 3rd career.
